NorthBay Will Offer Free Saturday Flu Clinics

NorthBay Healthcare will offer free, drive-through flu vaccination clinics every Saturday in October from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Vaccinations in the convenience of your vehicle will be offered at the NorthBay Center for Primary Care at 421 Nut Tree Road in Vacaville on Oct. 10 and Oct. 24 and at the NorthBay Center for Primary Care, 2458 Hilborn Road in Fairfield on Oct. 3 and Oct. 17.

Vaccine is available for both adults and children on a first-come, first-served basis, according to Stephanie Tarter, assistant vice president of Administrative Services. Consent forms can be downloaded at or completed at the time of service.

Walk-in flu clinics for NorthBay patients only will be available at all three CPCs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in October only.

According to the CDC, on average, more than 200,000 people in the United States are hospitalized each year and 49,000 deaths occur for illnesses associated with seasonal influenza virus infections. Vaccination is the most important step in protecting yourself against the flu.
