ProComm Testimonial

We've had ProComm out to our office on several occasions to do different things with our phone system and network/telecommunications wiring. They're great because they're very responsive and flexible to our needs. Our work environment as a quickly growing startup is often chaotic, and on every visit I have to ask them to change what we planned or do something different or extra, and they're always willing and always have the extra parts necessary to do the job. They're also very conscientious, cleaning up behind themselves when I've told them not to worry about it because the cleaning crew could take care of it later; or doing something the right way when I've said they could take a short cut to make the job easier. They're like an extension of my own staff, because I know I can count on them to take care of anything I need and work around my schedule while doing what's in my best interest.

Front 2 Back Designs' Assist a High School Grad Fundraiser

We came up with the following fundraiser a few years back for our own daughter, who graduated from Alabama South University in December 2011, Majoring in Psychology.

This was created as a fundraiser to assist high school grads with some of the start up costs associated with furnishing dorm room, supplies, books, etc.

We sent out a letter to all our friends, child's doctor/dentists, teachers, associates (don't leave anyone out), etc. The letter stated it was a fundraiser for " CHILD'S NAME", and that they'd be starting college (date and name of school attending). The participants would purchase a Port Authority 100% Cotton T-Shirt for $20.00 that reads "I Supported a College Student". The cost to you is $7.00 S-XL (call for pricing on larger sizes and min. quantity of 36 pieces needed). For an added touch, you can add the child's name to the imprint, so they knew who they were supporting.

The child would then deliver the tshirts (personally if local or U.S. mail) with a "Thank you" letter written by them. This fundraiser can be a huge success if done correctly. The people who donated were happy to assist a young responsible adult with their college education.

If you (or a referral), are interested in setting up such a fundraiser, please call 707-421-1831.

FRONT 2 BACK DESIGNS WOULD BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO ASSIST YOU WITH HELPING A H.S GRAD GO TO COLLEGE!!

The special will run thru August 1st, 2013 Only and applies to the below image only or with child's name added to same location.

Networking Strategies for People Who Hate Networking

Three quick tips to make real connections in business -- and take the nervousness out of networking.

As all business owners know, just putting your name out there isn't enough to bring new clients in the door. If you want to attract more prospects you're going to have to grow your network. While a room full of strangers talking about their jobs might not be anyone's idea of a good time, planning out a strategy before an event and following through afterward can help ease your anxieties about networking.

Top 5 Reasons For Buying a Home

Maybe you have seen a lot of people buying homes and it has hit you that maybe you should be doing the same. But since buying a home is a very huge commitment as well as undertaking, you will need to know what you will benefit from this action. This is one of the biggest decisions you may ever make in your whole life. The top 5 reasons for buying a home are the following:

Protection against increasing rents

Unlike a while ago when renting a house used to be a cheaper alternative to people had the aim of saving so that they can later on buy their own homes, landlords nowadays have set the rent prices so high that it is hard for some people to save. In many places, it is cheaper to buy a house compared to renting. 1500 dollars or more is a lot of money to part with every month to pay rents. It will be even better off if you buy a house that has a fixed rate mortgage because you will never have to worry about the monthly payments increasing.

Taking advantage of low mortgage rates

Mortgage rates have dropped tremendously as of now and therefore you will benefit a lot if you buy a home now since that trend may be short-lived. Therefore the best time to act is now especially if you are a bargain shopper. With the current low rates, you will never have worries about refinancing in the future and therefore you will be able to save a lot of money in closing costs on loans that you may have taken.

Taking advantage of low home prices

There are those years is one those when the cost of buying a home really goes down. But the prices may start rising and go up really fast. You will therefore need to take advantage of the situation and buy a house sooner if you want to get great deal.

Helping your credit

You may also buy a home if you want to boost your credit score. If you are able to handle a mortgage, it implies that you are responsible and therefore credit bureaus will not have a problem rewarding you for that. That will help you overcome situations that might cause you to incur a lot of interests.

Making the home your own

When you are living in a rented apartment, there is a limit to the modifications that you can make to that house, and you will also need to seek consent from the owner to be able to make any change to the house. If it is your own home, you can upgrade the kitchen to suit your own taste, paint the walls in the living room and the master bedroom using your favorite colors and also put up a garden in the backyard. You will have full control over your home so you can personalize it as you want.

Replacing Aged Plumbing - When Do Your Old Pipes Need to Go?

Plumbing is usually reasonably durable, but it does not survive forever. If you find yourself making small repairs time and time again, it may mean that your plumbing system has to be replaced. Obviously, replacing plumbing is no small undertaking. The construction work that goes into such a job is not only bothersome-- you may be required leave your residence as walls are torn out and your water is shut off - but it is also exceptionally pricey. So, how do you figure out when repair jobs are enough and when it is time to bite the bullet and actually go for replacing your entire plumbing system?

According to top plumber pros, here are the items you should think about when making this incredibly vital decision.

When it comes to plumbing repairs versus plumbing replacement, the secret is to find the balance between not jumping into a replacement job before you have to and still getting the work accomplished before any big setbacks occur. If you have an enormous system failure, not only will you have to pay to have the plumbing replacement work completed, but you will also have to pay to repair any damage done to your home by the failure. One way to see that you have a big plumbing problem on your hands is the amount of times you need a repair done. If you're calling in a plumber every other week, you likely have a situation.

As important as the regularity of plumbing troubles is the specific location of the issues. If you have to continuously make repairs in the same spot or on the same pipe, then you can be confident that the repairs are not doing the trick and that more comprehensive work should be done.

Another way to find out that you have an issue in your plumbing system is to simply listen to your pipes. When you turn on a tap or flush a toilet, do you hear tons of banging? Does the system just sound like it is straining to cope? Often, when you hear that sort of disruption, it is because the system is indeed struggling to work. Some creaking is typical, but when your system is fragile, you will know it. If you couple that with something like there being a wait between when you turn on your tap and when the water is released, you should certainly consider employing an emergency plumber to check your pipes.

Time can be another indicator. Plumbing has a shelf life. In apartments, pipes need to be replaced every 30 years or so. Private homes may be able to get away with another 10 years so depending on use. If your plumbing is this old, it may simply be time. Get in contact with an emergency plumber for a full evaluation.

When it comes time to replace your plumbing, make sure to shop around and get a few prices for the job. The work is pricey, so getting the best deal makes sense. Get quotes from each top-rated plumber before making any decision.
